Periplasmic nitrate reductase D (napD) from Pseudomonas stutzeri JM300

This gene is part of the nap operon from P. stutzeri JM300. Nap is the first enzyme of the denitrification pathway, converting nitrate (NO3-) into nitrite (NO2-). NapD has an essential role in NapA (catalytic subunit) maturation as a dedicated chaperone protein [1].
